Information about the Shimoyamada no Sakura
It is halfway up the pass along the way from Miharu Takizakura (an ancient cherry tree) and Sakura of Ozawa. It is an enormous Edohigan cherry blossom tree, and its light red blossoms are magnificent. The eyes of those that pass by here are drawn to this cherry blossom tree, and the Kabesu shidare-zakura (weeping cherry blossom tree). The red torii gate right next to it makes an impression.
